Vortech V2 - Bad bearing?

Hi there.

After 2 rebuilds under warranty (leaking seals), here's the sound of my Vortech V2 after a fresh install:
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/V...ing_643610.htm
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/V...ing_643587.htm

The first video is less than 1 inch away from the blower with 2 high-quality microphones, so the sound is a bit amplified.

Does it sound bad to you? Before sending the unit to Vortech, I don't remember hearing this "bee sound" mixed with the typical centrifugal sound.

It doesnt sound bad. My V2 whistles, but i dont notice that rattle to it like yours. Forward the vids to the Vortech tech and get their opinion, but i think you fine, just make sure you oil feen nozzle is letting oil thru and it's not clogged

did you check for end play on the shaft? That is one way to tell if you have a bad bearing.
