Steeda Oil Seperator?

Has anyone tried it yet? It seems like its a good investment for only 60 bucks.

Thanks for the link. It looks like I'll be getting one of these. Beats paying that other company 90 dollars for theirs, although it uses a bigger catch can.

60 bucks .

The thing is just a water seperator with a bracket and two plastic barb fittings. It can be made a LOT cheaper..

On a N/A car i dont see where it would even be needed..

I think I spent less than $30 for hardware from Sears and hoses from Napa, and that was with brass...not plastic barb fittings.

I use one on my N/A and it does collect the oil well, although I am sure some gets past and into the intake

yeah I can see why they came out with something like that. I had to delete my pcv because I had so much oil in my intake. I would think that it would benefit a supercharged car more than a n/a.

Actual my car being N/A, the PCV does pull oil into the intake. I added a similar seperator that GO3stamg posted and it's made a difference.

96bluovl - You would tap in between the PCV valve and upper intake.

Anyone know the hose size? Car isn't here and I'd like to get the adapters. anplumbing.com has the earls fittings - a little pricey, but much better looking than those plastic things....

Happens on my car N/A and on my 95 Jeep 4.0L which is also N/A. So don't say that something like this won't help on an N/A vehicle.

But it's kind of an old idea already. Bill P. has been using one one his car for quite some time I believe.
