Excellent! Hats off to you for doing "what can't be done, won't work etc." Really nice gains and not just peak. Good area under the curve.

I am bolting one on ASAP. Would mind telling me a few things that you had to do again, thanks. Like the lower intake coolant tube, and which gasket you used b/t in the intake and heads.
BTW, that's fuggin awesome, and I can't wait to do mine. (almost 20rwhp)
And you don't even have PI cams do you??

Just for all you techie people, here are a few other numbers to swallow with the newfound 15rwhp mod.
Rpm HP Gain TQ Gain
4000 5 6
4250 10 12
4500 13 16
4750 15 17
5000 16 17
5250 15 15
5500 20 20
5650 25 24 Had to do 5650, cause that was the last common spot. I love these numbers. I did this without Timing adjusted, so dont worry, they arent fudged.

To answer a couple questions so far....... this was bolting the intake on, NO epoxy work! Stock heads, STOCK cams, stock exhaust manifolds, etc.
I will be working on the write up tonight. Maybe done tomorrow.... we'll see.

Are those corrected numbers?
If they are what are they corrected to?
Thanks,
Matt

Possibly tomorrow. I wanna be very in depth with it. So when you go to do it, you can virtually have every step at your fingertips.

Awesome increase in power! I particularly like what the PI intake did to the curve! No longer flattens out at ~4krpm like the stock one. My dyno curve looks just like your stockers with that same 4krpm ceiling, so I'm expecting that this would really open up my car as well. Thanks for giving this a go and documenting what your but was feeling. Looking forward to your write up too. Thanks again for putting yourself out there!

They aren't turd's anymore when we can bolt on $100 intake, and $100-150 PI cams, and be runnin more rwhp than the new ones. Gotta love it! YEEEEEHAW

No DOUBT!!
Ronnie went out and discovered a relatively cheap bolt-on for the NPI guys that produces well documented gains! Now time to take it to the track and see what she'll do in the 1/4
PI Intake + PI Cams look to be great bang for buck mods. Gotta love hot-rodding on a budget
