Cam followers "rocker arms"

Is there a good write up somewhere on how to install cam followers a.k.a rocker arms? Or do you just pop them on the lash adjusters w/ a screwdriver? Some insight would b appreciated....... thanks

How do you bleed down the lash adjusters? with a small wire and insert it into the hole?

Take them out and compress them really slowly. A vise works well, but put some plastic or wood between the jaws and lash adjuster so you don't mar the surfaces of the adjuster.

The OTC tool will let you compress the valve spring and slip he followers on very easily. Using a screwdriver wasn't working for me.

I've seen people install the followers, lay the cam in, and use the cam caps to compress the valve springs as they tighten it down. Yipe!

Just get the trick flow tool. $30. I've done the screwdriver method before... I wont again, ended up with a grove on the cam.
