I noticed a few guys run them up front. What is the advantage of this? I have some stiff ass Linear rate front springs, and I LOVE the drop I have with my current springs, how much do 4 cyl. springs drop? Just curious to the advantages/disadvantages of these springs. I try to make it to the track whenever i can, and I have 275/50/15 drag radials on the way and I am getting 4.10's soon. thanks!

That's a 4cyl. drop on my car, Dude. Gives a good flex to the front end on launch increasing weight transfer and obviously helping 60ft.'s depending also on your other suspension upgrades. I digg it completely.

I don't have any pictures of mine but I'd say the 4cyl springs raised my front end about 1/2" compared to my H&R SS springs. They were new springs though. If I would have bought used 4 cyl springs they might have dropped better.

I cut 1/2 coil and it looks like I need to go another 1/2"

Oh yeah, if you buy new springs DO NOT buy MOOG or ELGIN brand springs!!!

I tried both of those and they RAISED my car over an inch ABOVE stock!! I had used springs from a junkyard and they worked great.

I don't have 4cyl's out back. I'm running the Fox Body V8 Springs. In the rear I have both top/bottom isolaters in and in the front I only have the top ones in.

Thanks for the compliments..

Coil-overs all the way around, or the Fox body set-up (4 cyl. front, V-8 rear), that everybody who is fast seems to be running.

Is the coil over better? If so what brand?

Thanks,

I bought 4cyl springs that Pep Boys had to order from and they didn't seem to drop the front at all. I didn't know that there are different kinds that are out there. I just went to Pep Boys and asked for 4cyl Fox Body springs. They cost me $70 total with tax. The install was $150. They didn't seem to drop the front. The front is about 31/2 fingers from the tire. I praying that over time they will settle. I'll be pissed that I pissed away $220!!! So, whoever is out there getting 4cyl make sure you get the RIGHT kind!!! Don't make the my mistake!!!!
