Does anyone know of any CC plates that have rubber bushings in them and are still sutible for coil over use? I currently have UPR CC plates with my coil overs and i feel every tiny crack in the road.

Sorry. Somehow I missed this thread.
I wouldn't use a rubber bushing with the coil-overs. The CC plate is responsible for the location of the strut AND for suspension in a coil-over application. You don't want that bushing to be functioning as a spring.
Besides, I don't think anyone makes a properly triangulated 4-bolt CC plate (the only kind you should use with coil-overs) with a rubber bushing.

This is my reasoning behind it is that FWD cars that use mcphearson struts use a rubber bushing up top.
I have found the hotchkis CC plates use a poly bushing however they are a 3 bolt design, Do you think it would be wise to have a seperate peice welded on to convert it to a 4 bolt design? Or have a machine shop make an entirely new peice?
To use a 4 bolt CC plate your have to drill correct?

Damnit, i just read that the hotchkis plates should not be used with Coil overs.

There are only two CC plates that I would ever consider in a coilover desing. MM and Griggs. Neither use rubber bushings. If you are worried about NVH then remove the coilovers and use a standard spring, sticking a rubber bushing in there will remove some of the benifits of the coilovers anyhow.
