It's starting to catch me, and my car has remained stock since purchase on September 19th. Here's my dilema. I'd really like to boost this thing up. I'm going to be ordering mid-pipe and cat-back soon regardless. I still have waining fears of more boost however. I'm not completely satisfied with the tuning options available for the pulley applications. Especially because there really isn't a reputable tuning shop anywhere in Colorado that would really know what they are doing with the car. That basically leaves the predetor (which I've been seeing many issues with lean tunes), and mail order chips. Now a cat-back and mid-pipe are gonna give me a decent amount of power down to the rear wheels. Probably enough for a while.

The problem is I just purchased 2 brand new t-60:1 turbo's for my 1969 firebird. Basically it boils down to if I want to sell those turbo's to get the pulley, and tune. I could probably get a CAI as well.

Do I

1. Bite the bullet and get this thing a pulley (probably a 2.93) and a ported apten down the road...yet dealing with the tuning issues I will face. Or do I...

2. Slap the 2 T4 upgraded to t-60:1 turboes on my 1969 firebird's built 455 like I've been saying I want to do for the past year and a half.

The Cobra would be pushing 450+ atleast with the added boost and exhaust, which would make for a very fun ride.

The Bird, which makes enough power to put around 475-500 to the ground as it sits (not dyno proven) would be closer to the 700rwhp 850-900 ft lbs range.

call me, we can help you with everything. A ported blower, 2.9 pulley, exhaust, CAI, and a handheld SCT flasher and you'll be looking at 480 - 500RWHP.
