OK how do I post a picture? I want to post some data, but need to post a few pictures with it..
Underneath the reply box, you can attach a picture. Just click the browse button.
Or, if you have them on a webserver, you can use the IMG tag. Above the reply box is the IMG button. Click on that and put the web address of the picture in the box that pops up.

Let see if this works. If you are posting a picture already hosted on the web you would put *img* in front of the link and */img* after the link but to make it work replace the * with [ & ].
If it's from your PC you just use the attach a picture function at the bottom of the window.

The only way I know of is to link the pictures to an external host.
For example:
Some Text
http://www.tommee.com/pictures/welded.jpg
More Text
http://www.tommee.com/pictures/welded.jpg

An external host is basically a server that can hold data to be viewed by people on the internet. Usually you need to buy this service for a monthly fee. There are places that offer free storage but if you exceed the bandwith limits it shuts down access for a certain period of time.
I have some space you can use if you would like.

That would be great Tom. I'd only need the space until I figure out what to do with this. Right now I have two done, 5 pictures total for like 271k....
You can e-mail me any particulars...and a good explanation on how to do this.

I sent you a PM since I don't have access to my home email
You guys have this taken care of? You can always upload them to that FTP account I gave you Jerry. I forgot about that. I'll PM you the address that you would use if you upload them there.

I don't think anything is taken care of. I tried Tom's site and I can't get it. I did what you said, made the post and there are no pictures.
If you get a chance, call me tonight and maybe we make this work...
Frustrated....

You couldn't get into the site I set up for you? Since you have something with Ken I'll let you two guys work it out. If worse comes to worse Jerry you can send me the pictures and I'll put them up for you . You can then hotlink them.
I still don't understand why it didn't work.

I am still having problems..
I am trying to post pictures in the 2V section and I can't. I've tried both using the ftp location and attaching the pictures. I can't, it won't work. This is getting old real fast...
PM me the name of the pic you are trying to attach

Is there like some stupid button I could have shut off that doesn't let me attach pictures? I added that little picture of the Olds yesterday, could I have messed something up?

If you hit "post reply" (not the quick reply box) then there will be an area at the bottom of the entry screen that says Attach File with a browse box. If the picture you wish to attach is on your computer, you may attach it by selecting it in this box. ATTACHED images are limited in size, and you can only attach one.
If the pictures are somewhere else, e.g. your website, and you wish to show multiple images in a post, you use the tags as a Bill pointed out above. You will need to use this method to show multiple pictures on the same post, or to show pictures larger than the maximum Ken has allowed on the site.
If you need to, call me and I will walk you through it.
