Hey everyone like the subject says I'm looking for some advice. I like the tech on here so I figured this would be best to post.

I've wanted to put a Novi on my car for sometime now. I recently added hookers and got a great tune. The car made impressive power for a 99. My concern is that when installing my new transmission we saw something. Bottom line it doesn't look like my car is a great candidate for supercharging in it's current form.

I was planning on the basic Novi kit and everything to run it on stock motor. I'm at a little over 53k mi. and would be saving up for my motor build while running on stock block. So tell me what you all think, because i'm not sure if it'll be worth attempting on my motor.

I guess it's just a question of how long do you think your motor will hold out and how long will it take you to save the money. If I thought the motor was going to die soon, I would purchase a new shortblock from VT and add the blower later. If I thought the motor would hold out for a year or more, I would get the blower first.

I don't get it. All I see is some oil vapor blowing by the oil seal. They dont' stay clean forever. It the motor has good compression and leakdown slap the blower on it!

I was told my rear main seal was leaking by a buddy of mine when we did the swap to the T-56.. I was told this was a problem but never knew what it looked like.. I saw all that I figured he was right.. car made great power this weekend. So I dunno.. I guess I'll get a compression test done soon.
