ok I am upgrading my s-trim with a 3.125 pulley... what am I going to have to change on my set up... I already have 42 lb injectors and a 255 fuel pump... I am guessing I have to upgrade my bypass valve... who makes a good one that can handle big time boost for an 02 GT... what else should I upgradE?

You could get a Vortech race bypass. I've seen a ton of guys use then on high boost applications

Is this the stock block? If it is I would say upgrade your shortblock;)

If not get the 03 cobra fuel pumps and tank (or twin focus pumps) and Vortech bypass. What MAF do you have.

Stock short block?
Better have good internals for that boost.

A 255 in a 02:eek2: .THrow it away.Get the 03 pumps at min. They awork great in our cars.

Bypass is not always needed.Im still running a bosch bypass valve.

A good maf is needed .A 90mm lmaf (depending on the tuner) can handle 500rwhp.

yea I just oprdered the x2c v 2.0 short block.. all forged with 18.1 cc dished pistons... I also have a 90 mm lightning mass air meter so I have both of those handled... but as for fuel... that has been an issue from the beginning... but I cant find the cobra tank and pumps for any less than 600... which is way mor emoney than I go right now... any ideas where to pick one up for less? or is there anyway to get duel pumps that will fit into the gt tank?

the cobra pumps will fit in a gt tank but its possible to uncover the pumps under low fuel conditions.
Check out joe lynch web page .He has pics of his home made baffle setup he used with his cobra pumps.

If you think the cobra stuff is higher.Just wait ,you are gonna haved to have a tranny, clutch and rear to hold that power.600.00 is only a drop in the bucket of what you will spend.

I have my clutch handled... spec 3 with an al;uminum flywheel.. as for the tranny I am waiting for my 3650 to go out and then I will either have it rebuilt or buy a tko... rear end.. well lets just say I wont be power shifting for awhile

Your fuel system is probably the most important to address correctlly. Don't skimp on it, because eventually you'll have to upgrade. Go with the cobra pump and tank. You can always add the Boost-A-Pump later and that should be enough. I learned my lesson years ago, plan it right and spend the money once.
