Well as some of you know my car had a valve spring break back in Nov that took out a perfectly new forged motor(600miles) and one of my 99 heads. I kind of got bummed after that happened and went on a slump with the car. I almost even parted it out. Thank god to my wife I didn't. This year the quest is to hit the 9sec ET range. These are some of the mods for new setup

Race ported 99 heads with oversized valves
new valve springs
more agressive blower cams
custom intercooler
univer MAF
83lb injectors
injector driver
sump tank
2.85 blower pulley on Novi2000RR (approx 24psi boost)
4.30 gears
33 spline axles
33 spline spool
C4 tranny with reverse manual valvebody & transbrake
5000 rpm 9" stall convertor
manual brakes
manual steering
Cobra alum block(weight savings)

I think that is about it for now. The car if all works well should be done for November or December so won't be running it till early next season.

Good luck with the build up Alain. If you need any help, we're a PM away! Jim and I have both been on the "wounded" side of racing, so we can appreciate where you were coming from. Now get that thing back together and kick some ass!

Later.

Sounds awesome. Something I'd like to move toward in the next couple of years, for sure. Welcome back to the game!
