The car in question is a black 96 Cobra with Tan Leather interior. The interior is in excellent condition as the previous owner took superior care of the leather. But the exterior is another matter. I think the car only saw three wax jobs from 1996 to 2002 at which time I bought the car.

I've done one wax job on the car using Meguiers ScratchX and Meguiers Wax. It did look good in low light and dark settings, but in sunlight it looks a little faded. Sitting right next to my girlfriends 03 Black Mustang, it looks really bad.

What can I do, as a weekend do-it-yourselfer, to get back that deep black shine to my paint?

Thanks! :headbang:

Try the z-5 from zaino. I used some on my prelude last year, and it helped.

One word, Zaino.

Go to Zaino.com (http://www.zainostore.com) and check out the products they have there. I promise you will not be disappointed if applied correctly. I suggest the ZFX, the Z-2, Z-5, Z-6, Z-7 and Z-18 at a minimum.

Yes, it's a little expensive, but so are our vehicles, and why not get the best? The bottles last a while because the trick is to use thin layers, not thick ones.

Check out the pics of the user's cars in the photos section........

PM me if you have any questions and I'll be happy to help ya out.......and NO, I'm not a dealer or vendor, I just believe in their products 100%.
