ATTA BOY!:D Tell us more about it!

I'm supposed to pick up a Teal Green 96 SHO(Called Willow Green) with a ROYALLY FUBAR'd motor.

Makes Scott K's car look like a walk in the park. Rear bank camsprocket cut loose and snapped 3 valves into 2 pistons. Valves promptly re-installed themselves - Into the pistons SIDEWAYS. Then they punched the snot out of the head. Just not worth fixing.

Transplant time. Lucky me, got a spare. Plan on looking into making a low compression motor from what's left of this car's motor and going with an M90 off of a 3.8 supercoupe.

Here is the head.:barf:

Its a black 96 cam failure. Rick baught it last week and then baught another one and I decided to help him out by taking the 96 off his hands. Now I just got to go to Nashville to get it. It has a crack in the bumpr cover and rip in the rear seat but for what I might do with it thats ok.

Your welcome Chuck, when you coming to get it?

If anyone is interested I am also looking to sell my other Black Satin '96 SHO, grey leather, sunroof, chrome SHO wheels, the mileage is high (171k) but you wouldn't know it to see it.

It was just serviced and the cams were welded by Kirk Doucette, that includes new plugs, new gaskets, swapped the coils front to rear (after verifying there was no damage), insulated the rear harness (which had started melting), replaced the IMRC, cleaned the throttle body, intake runners, surge tank, and butterflies (the secondaries were actually stuck closed).

E1 saw it this last weekend, he can vouch for it.

Asking $3800......

This time of year in My neck of the woods you can stand quiet and actually LISTEN to your car rusting!

I was up under this 96 last weekend and I WISH Chicago cars were like this underneath. Nice car. Looks to be a great daily driver with all the work just been done.
