You should get about 6 good passes out of the 15 ib bottle.

Lew, is the nitrous consistent enough to bracket with? I was going to spray for a little bit on my motor, but run the brackets NA...

As long as you have the bottle pressure the same for each run and lauch the car the same (I think you have a brake) it should be as consistent as any other car...I bracket race with mine.:D

I got 7 passes on my last bottle, and it still isn't empty. It's a NX 10lb bottle, and I'm spraying a 100 shot. I'd look at finding a different place to fill your bottle if your only getting 4 runs.

I get the bottle filed at the track and thay weigh it befor and after in front of you . I'm not saying I onlly get 4 runs I'm saying that the first 4 runs are the strongest and then your times start falling . I have gone 7 runs on a bottle but the times will fall from 11.9 to 12.3 thats no good for bracket racing :nono: What do you run with your 100 shot ? I see you have Comp Cams how do you like them with the nitrous ? Any befor and after times cams on nitrous ?
Flo , yes you can use nitrous bracket racing the last time at the track the car ran 11.9's all 4 times .

My best is a 12.75@112 so far. I never really got to run it with the juice before, had the fuel line from the solenoid to the nozzle was bad, the liner in it collasped. Took me awhile to track it down. I feel I picked up about 3 tenths with the cams, but I haven't ahd a tune done yet. The biggest thing that is hurting me is the lowering springs. On the juice I run the 1/8th in 8.31@86 and the 1/4 12.75@112, so I'm picking up 26mph at the top end, which is a fairly big gain I think. By comparison, I ran a 13.55@100.5, and the 1/8th time was a 8.67@78.52, so it's pulling pretty good at the top end. I just need to work on the begining, but I do cut pretty consistent 1.90 60' times with the Nitto's.

I would have to agree with you on your springs hurting you. That is a high mph to only fun 12.75. I ran a 100 shot at the track in Nov and I cut a 1.72 60ft and ran 12.60 @104 mph on ET Streets.

Arent you spraying out of the hole though? He has nittos, not ET streets. I trapped 112 on the 100 shot with street tires.

Yea, I'm spraying out of the hole, I forgot that he was on Nittos amd can't leave offthe rev limiter like I do on E T Street. That would make sense that he has such a high MPh

You might want to get a bottle heater. It will help your bottle pressure stay consistant along with your times.:thumb:

I have a bottle heater I keep it at 1050 all the time . I trap 114 1.60 60's with ET-Drags spraying a 100 shot out of the hole

I run w/ a 15lb bottle and a 125 shot. I get about 8 consistant runs w/ the pressure at 1050 before the car starts to slow down. I see it in the 60 foot first. Usually a slight increase in bottle pressure will help for the next pass, but then it is time to change bottles.
