I think anytime you get to around 425 you are starting to push your luck with the rods.

What do you have done to your engine now to hold the power?

Bah...
As long as it is tuned correct, 450 ACTUAL RWHP, will be the limit. IE actual if you are high elevation like me.

Bend over, reach between your legs, grab each ear, and pull your head out.
He said around 425, Bah.

Nah, on the dyno you have actual and corrected.
I am at 6000ft above sea level so I am only making roughly 360 RWHP. If I had a stock block, I could get a lot farther than someone could at sea level. So my actual numbers are 360 and my corrected might be 450. So if I went to 450 actual then I might make 600 corrected. People need to go by actual numbers instead of corrected because 450 corrected from someone might be nothing for someone else.
Does that make sense? I think I confused the shit out of myself?
BTW how are the tunes man, i'm dying to know.

My buddy has a 2001 Lightning and dyno'd at 410rwhp and 525rwt, the guy at the dyno place said anything over 440rwhp, then you'll have to replace your connecting rods.

Eatoncharged,
I'm at 7000 so I'm like at 330 hp .... so you think we could slap on a works 140 and still be safe at 450HP... Just a thought.
Also I have read many posts where people blowing motors from 12 psi boost /410 HP to running 19lbs boost and 520 rwhp, not all these motors are the same.... and each motor will have a diferent breaking point(weak link) The average seems to be around 450HP but who's to say I don't have one that throws a rod at 420? I have my figers crossed I can make it to 500 but time will tell.

I think you have about as much room as you need at 7000ft. Keep in mind, your 400 actual is about 530ish corrected. Youd be fine with a 140 at 15 PSI.
