Went to the track. I need to get a grip.

Went to the track on Friday night. It had been a couple years since my last time at the drags. I was running on the stock street tires. Needless to say I had a very hard time keeping the tires from spinning. With my MPH I think if I can get the tires to stick I should be in the 12's Looks like I am getting some drag radials. Any suggestions for a brand? I want to get a spare set of the stock 17" bullets for them. This is with a crap in the trunk and a full tank of gas. Here is my results:

Get some BFG DR's. Those will work nice on those 17s. You'll have to get them good and broke in but you'll be able to cut some 1.7 short times with some practice and that'll get you down in the 12s easy. :thumb:

Take some weight out of the car. Clear the trunk, remove your wing, front sway bar, passenger and back seat and your ETs will fall like a rock. Good luck racin'!
