will this system allow you to recal your speedo when you install gears?? is it going to be possible to damage your car with a bad tune???

Yes, you can recalibrate your speedometer.

Of course you can harm your car with a bad tune, but the SCT package comes with value files that are designed to give you a safe baseline to begin your tune from, in order to prevent this. First you pick a value file that closely matches the mods to your car, then you tune it from there. As long as you use common sense while tuning, you shouldn't do any harm to the car.
