Unknown as of now. Raymond is supposed to send me a new rev EEC tuner so I can be the Gen2 guinea pig. If that ever happens, I'll have a real answer for you.

I've already paid him for one. Just wondering if there was something else out there. Raymond does not have any right now. I thought I was the Gen2 guinea pig.

kdanner, when u get yours let me know. I spend more time on the nloc board. I get restless when they talk about wax and other items boring (to me that is). We'll get that dang thing working even if I have to write the code myself.

I remember you from here

I got restless on the NLOC board when they were arguing that a stock lightning only had 7% total driveline loss. Lucky for me Jerry Hart called me a vendor and banned me because I made a post mentioning a local dyno tune <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emsmile.gif" BORDER="0">

No no Brian... The lightning drivetrain is SO efficient it doesnt lose ANY HP at all.

In fact, I've heard of people making hp through the driveline.

These things are amazing!!!

I thought the Lightning guys liked to claim like 30% driveline loss so they could inflate their crank hp numbers.

No... the complete drivetrain loss on a 99+ Gen 2 Lightning is between 63 - 72hp. This is including transmission, accessories, rearend... etc. This # does not change but maybe only a few hp more for every 100hp added. a round about #.

Stock 01/02's average dyno is 320rwhp. However their rating of 380bhp is a tad low and most are 390 - 410 from the factory.
