Has anyone logged IAT1 and 2 to see the exact benefit of using an aftermarket heat exchanger opposed to the stock unit ?

yea, I saw about a 10 degree drop on average with the afco HE

Was that across the board ? WOT / around town at speed ?


I see a lot of people selling these with no real technical data to back it up. I am trying to see if this would be worth while on a 15-19lb KB 03.

the starting temperatures are lower on dyno pulls which result in similarly lower temps at higher boost levels. Part of the problem is the IAT2 sensor reads very slow and can be heat soaked, so there's no real way to get a precise measurment with out drilling in new sensors. But from the difference between the two sensors and final IAT2 temps on the pull it does seem to be worth it.
