Check out the coil-overs from Autofab Race Cars (http://www.autofabracecars.com/) in Maryland. Unlike the majority of the kits on the market, their kit comes with QA1 shocks 12-way adjustables and new brackets to fit it, instead of using the existing mounts. The allows for proper lateral movement on the shock.

It's not cheap (about $550), but well worth it. The only comparables on the market are ones from MM or Griggs, but then you're looking at roadrace biased shocks.

Does that $550 include everything needed to install? Is it similar ar far as mounting points to what Tanguy has on his ride?

Yes, it includes everything, and looks identical to that.

off-topic: Damn...I like those brakes...is that a kit, or a one-off?

Sorry to bring up an old post but I never saw this one...

No its not a one off but the kit is for a 9" rear, I have 9" ends so same thing. The kit for the rear was not too expensive, actually quite reasonable for what you get. 4 piston calipers, crossdrilled and slotted, I forget the dia. but I can check. Got them drop shipped to Mark Williams when they were building the rear - but the kit through Summit. This kit was without the e brake. If you want the part # I can go look it up in my invoices.

Tanguy, I PM'd you about your rear C/Os, but I think that was before the "MD crash" so I dont have it anymore. Can you give me the info on them again? Was it a kit? Part numbers? Prices (PM me if you want) and where you got it from. Thanks man!!

Info on the C/O's only is easy... As you can see, the C/O's are made by Strange. I have the double adjustable version although they are also available in single adjustable. I recommend the D/A's if you're going as far as buying C/O's in the first place - don't stop short and go single adjustable. I bought them from Skinny Kid Race Cars along with their billet aluminum C/O mounts that install in the stock shock locations. Two things I advise on 1) Get the middle of the three available stroke lengths from Strange - you can see what they are on the Skinny Kid website 2) Make sure the billet mounts are the ones for the Strange C/O's not the Afco's - They are cut away a bit more for the Strange. The springs come with the Strange C/O's - they use Hypercoils which are top notch, they stay true to their ratings ie. 175# are actually 175# and stay true much better than cheaper springs, almost to a fault :).

Skinny Kid has a good price on them, their website has an on-line store where you can get all the good info. I'd call them to place your order so you can ask questions if you need. They have good customer support as well - I had to exchange some parts and all went very smooth. Let me know if you need anything else... :D
