I know this is a stupid, redundant question, but I lost the old answers I had from before.
I need to know what the best studs are out back. I never got around to doing it, and I don't want to buy anything shitty and get annoyed. I'm on a tight time schedule and should probably order this stuff ASAP so I can make the last couple races.

Steeda has 3" ARP studs. My axles came with Moser's already installed.

I'll be upgrading axles (probably over the winter) and I'm sure the new ones will have the 3" studs already in them, like you said, Tru...
I was wondering, had someone mentioned stainless studs before that wouldn't rust?

The 3" studs that Steeda carries are the same as Summit, but Summit is much cheaper. I'm pretty sure it's a .635 knurl and they will press right it the rear hubs. Impact gun, washer, and an extra lug nut is all you need to install.

EDIT: .625 knurl not .635....typo;)

Can you still use regular rims with these studs or are they for Weld type rims only? I ask this because 3" studs seems long and my lugnuts have closed ends.

Yep, Studs feature a 0.625" knurl, making them a direct fit into 1979-2002 rear axles

You can use your rims, but if you have center caps they wont fit over the studs.
Got the ARP studs from Summitt and they were cheaper. Haven't broken them yet. The Superior axles came with the little baby studs. Cheap asses.

I got my ARP studs from summitt to.Mine are a screw in style:) .Real easy to install in my strange axles.
The 3" studs fit fine with a normal lug nut on my cobra "R"'s .

Sweet, so they're still pretty standard. I had been wondering about that.
