Since the racer package is only available here, will we only be able to place the orders online or will there be a phone number to order from?

The preferred method is online, but we will be making a phone number available also.

Well, it looks like they updated the home page to include a "Tuning Software/Hardware" section. Must be getting close!

Hopefully they will be able to take and ship orders by this Friday, as they previously had committed to!

I don't think it was a 'commitment' it was a 'we hope'. I'm sure they are working at top speed to get this out the door, but they are also at the mercy of suppliers, etc. I'm sure it will be soon though. It is in their interest to get it out ASAP and they know that, but it has to be right before it ships.

Sounds very much like a committment... obviously not like a legal contract or anything.. but the statement doesn't sound to wishy washy ;)

I'm just axious to order. I didn't expect it to ship by this Friday, but I'm hoping they wouldn't be taking orders for products they cant' ship. :)

Couple of things, they said that they hope 10 days they will be ready to ship. 10 days from that day falls on October 11th, If I remember correctly Which is Saturday.

So I would suspect the Earliest Possible Ship Date to be Monday Oct. 13th, that's the earliest case, I'm sure shipment by the end of the week would be a safe "a$$"umption if there is such a thing :-) But this is a hope remember.

Now, they had also stated, and it has been restated a few times.
They DO NOT COLLECT MONEY, Until Product has shipped.
So taking orders on Friday, means your commitment to buy. You don't actually pay until product ships out.

I'm not directly involved, that's just my interpretation.

Really guys it's not that big of a deal.. it was more just a "I hope this thing hits the market by Friday" nothing more hehe
