I stumbled upon this website while searching for some information about upper control arms. This site explains EVERYTHING about Late Model Mustang Suspensions. Please take a minute to read through it. It even has some animations to help you understand the movements.
Mods you may want to sticky this one as a FAQ. :thumb:

this is awsome, really cleared up some q's i had with the live axcel setup.
So if i read that right, the stang would turn better if tubular k-members came with mounting points for upper control arms??

This is a good write up. I have a question about using the torque arm and a panhard bar. How come if the article states this combo controls binding so much better then UCA, why do I not see anyone running the setup? According to what I am reading here it will help significantly more then just a UCA.

I have a TA/PHB. Plenty of people run them. They are not ideal for drag racing but a must if you intend to do any serious road racing.

What about the Crown Vic straight-back upper and lower control arms and watts link? Waste of time?
