Nice but I think it should of been higher???
Esp cams/stroker/and heads???

Ive seen roots cars lose power with exhaust if you cant spin the blower more.
My car lost 1psi with the x pipe and 10rwhp!!!If I could spin it faster I might of made power but???

Keep in mind the exhaust is only 2-1/4" with cats. This is probably robbing 20-30 rwhp on its own. A 2.5" exhaust will drop boost which means a smaller pulley can be used to further raise hp before heat becomes an issue. Once the exhaust is changed, timing and boost raised it should easily make 525-550 rwhp on around 12 psi of boost. Not to shabby IMHO.

I thought the same thing and lost power.
Currently they dont make a smaller pulley so unless he gets a bigger lower he is SOL.

His air is already higher than mine which is strange seeing how these are supposed to be more effiecient than a roots.
Definately more power.Makes me think about how much power I could get from p&p heads???

He already has a custom 8 rib on the car.....................pullies won't be a problem.

Dr.gas will easily net 30rwhp on this car..We have a smaller pulley being made to get us to 14 psi..

It will hit 550rwhp fairly easy still keeping the timing low..
The exhaust is killing this car...Same thing happens to an 03 cobra when you open up its exhaust. It has heads and cams ,exhaust will be a huge improvement..
Joel your car lost power because it is trying very hard to keep you frustrated.:)

As Tim stated, this car should respond to exhaust mods like the '03 Cobra. It's rare that going from a 2.25" exhaust to 2.5" would rob power. You can go too big a diameter though in relation to the amount of air a given engine can flow.

Twin screws do heat the air when run at the upper part of their boost range but are light years ahead of a Root's blower from nearly all technical aspects. The solution is to make the intercooler more efficient or just bolt on a bigger (2.2L in this case) blower. KB has the larger blower already in use on the '03 Cobra so the fix is there. A 2.2L would be good for an easy 700-800 rwhp on this engine.

Any way you slice it though, this new KB kit puts out very impressive hp/psi numbers.

For stock exhaust and 12 psi, I was fairly impressed with the #'s. I'm quite sure there is tons left in it w/ boost and exhuast.
