I picked up a set of the new Monroe Reflex shocks for the truck before I made the trip over to pick up the '95 model TBird that I purchased from John Sutton.I was leery of the OE shocks with 108K miles on them,and wanted something with good control under load,and a decent ride unloaded.Well,I'm very pleased with the ride quality,and the control with the truck loaded down was very impressive.Little or no pitch and roll on the interstate,and nice control in the high wind conditions on I-20 today..
I highly recommend these to anybody that is wanting a better shock for their truck,and really doesn't see the point in buying the expensive Edlebrock IAS, Bilstein, or Rancho shocks. Total for all 4 was $173 at Advance Auto Parts,and there is a $75 mail in store credit rebate right now.
