I have a 5 speed in a 97 so all I need are the engine control things. Can I get a version that is stream lined for the stick shift models? Jerry flashed my ecc and then sent me a chip to do a better job.

The version you get will be specific for your EEC. If you have a 5 speed, your EEC is a 5 speed EEC.

The software looks at your configuration and shuts off the stuff you don't have. If you have a manual trans, you won't see any of the autotrans stuff. If you don't have IMRC's, you won't see any of that stuff. This should clean things up and make it less confusing.

OK, thanks. I will be watching how it works. I may if you guys, would know.....see about getting a local shop in my area to do my tuning with one of the SCT's. What ever I think it is great to have such a tool. Chevy's look out.(per FORD)
