This will likely be a 1-man job in my garage....no air tools.
I plan on getting a spring compressor. I already have a jack and jackstands....what else do I need?
Somewhat detailed process would be helpful...or at least some things to look out for while doing this.
By the way...the new springs I'm putting in are Fox3 V8 rears and Fox3 4 cyl. fronts (Spicer 585-1107's).
Thanks in advance!

Scotty was going to update his spring install directions soon. He had some pretty detailed instructions.
The rear is pretty straight forward no spring compressor needed just unbolt the shocks, remove the rear sway bar if you still have it and then unbolt the axle side of your control arm to remove and install the new spring. If you already have lowered springs you can do this without touching the control arm by just jacking up the opposite side of the axle to give you space on the opposite side.
For the front if you are putting in shorter springs you won't need a compressor. Everything can be done with hand tools in less than an hour. What I do if you are removing stock springs is put a chain through the spring and the K-member to keep it from popping out. Otherwise you jack the car up supporting it by the frame, disconnect the sway bar, disconnect the steering rack from the spindle, remove the ABS sensors, put a floor jack under the A arm and remove the three nuts holding the stock caster camber plate in place and lower the jack slowly releiving the tension on the spring till you can remove it and install the new one. Then do the reverse to put it back together, then do the other side.
By the way I'm moving this over to suspension...

How hard is it to disconnect the steering arm? I've always changed my springs with it still connected and Im afraid I push it too far sometimes. (and Ive done alot of springs)
Just wondering if this would make it quicker by allowing the a-arm to fall farther?

You remove the two cotter pins and two king nuts, then tap them with a happen to knock them loose.

hey Eric, good deal... you found the Spicers.
like these guys say, its a pretty straight forward job. you will need the spring compressor installing the fronts.
good luck with it.
