Im going to look at a used NOS dry nitrous system, and if its in decent shape ill buy it, but i wanted to know how much should i retard my timing to keep the motor intact, ill stick with a 75hp jet, and i always run premium fuel. As for how to retard the timing, im going to be adding a MSD retard box to add to my 6A, and a 255lph intank pump

If im running a 15.4@90 with an aod, no traction problems, and not stalling it at the line will a 75 shot be enough to get me into the high 14's with a 5 speed?

Well to be conservative, you should take out about 2 degrees for every 50 HP you add. So, about 3 degrees should be adequate for what you are doing.
A 75 shot should be more than enough to get you into the 14's. But, you have an AOD, be careful, they are not the most durable piece in stock form.

i picked up the system. It is a dry system, and uses what looks like a springloaded valve that has a vac line that attaches to the port on the fuel regulator, ill get the instruction guide and bottle for it tomorrow. Would i be better off upping to a fogger nozzel and pluming the fuel line? Also what should i retard the timing from? Im having second thoughts abo running a 75hp jet, i think ill stick with a 50 on this motor, would 10BTDC be a safe bet at this? sorry for al the questions, but id like to keep my motor in the current number of pices
