anyone done this. The defective motor parks the wipers at nearly 90 degrees. I don't need instructions, but I am curious how long this should take. It's real freaking cold outside, and I'm wondering if I should pull out my propane heater.

It takes longer to get the wipers and plastic cowl cover off than it does to get the motor out. I did this when I swapped out my valve covers. About 2 - 3 hours from start to finish for the first timer. Have a good metric 1/4" drive and 6" extention besides sort philips screwdriver for those screws in the cowl. The whole assembly comes out in one piece from the drivers side. Undo the linkage and leave the passagers side there. Then remove the motor. Pretty easy once you can get at it and figure out which bolts really hold the motor and which hold just the plastic thing that it's mounted to.
