A couple of questions....

Ok, seeing as how I'm new to mod motors, figured I had better ask the experts about a few concerns I have.

Ok, #1......How can I stop the car from spitting oil out of the valve cover breathers? It makes a mess not to mention the smell of oil burning on the manifolds irritates the crap outta me.

#2.....Is it normal for the front calipers to rattle when going over bumps and such. It's an annoying little noise, plus not sure I like the stuff vibrating/rattling around. I know they are PBR floating calipers, but dang things are noisy as heck....LOL.

I'm sure there will be others eventually as I get more into this car...lol.

#1 - Dont really know why you are blowing oil out of the breathers. I can say, thats not normal. You may need a shop to check it out.

#2 - Sounds like your calipers are missing the "anti-rattle" clips. They go between the caliper and the brackets. You can buy them from ford for cheap.

Can you post a pic of your engine and the breathers....

Sounds like someone has taken the pvc valve out of the drivers side and the small "s" hose from the pass side and replaced them with breathers.....

Some folks have done this to keep the oil vaper that you are seeing dripping down your covers from being sucked into the intake and gumming up the IMRC plates, etc.

The right way to do this is to put it back to stock with the exception of a catch for the oil (same catch on an air compressor).
