I was just wondering if there was a date set for the release yet. I'm anxious and wanting to get this soon. Thanks

This month. It will be a roll out. First the flasher, then the chip version, then a multiple vehicle flasher version...

ok.. is that the 200$ (ballpark number) i saw mentioned in another thread? At some point, the bronze package might be a better deal after all (well after a couple of cars..) ..

Thanks

Yes, but that number is a ballpark. Also, the bronze package may be better if you have a few of the same cars, like all 99+ mustangs. But if you have a mustang, a truck and a crown vic, those would all be different databases through the dealer program. Also, only the Mustang, Lightning and Focus is available to bronze level dealers.

Hadn't thought about that.. the bronze (or the silver for other than mustang focus lightning..) would only be good if only you had all the same model/year car.. or else it would be 1500$ each..

Well well, you guys really have thought this through :) good stuff.. not much preventing me from getting it.. just wanna make sure that I won'T be left in the dark trying to figure out everything caus the value file is not close enough or whatever other problems could occur :P I'm not the big tuner type (not that I don't wanna learn.. just dont wanna learn the hardway hehe)

Let me just clairify something since I think there is confusion....

Any of the dealer packages will get you access to an entire database, say Focus. You can tune as many Focui as you want, but you still need to get the device to tune it from us, either a chip or a flasher. Initially a flasher will only be able to flash one car, whether it's a dealer version or a Racer version.

If you want to flash two cars as a dealer, you will need two devices, either two flashers or two chips. I'll be honest here, we need to make money, this is our only means of income. So, each car tuned we need to get paid for, this is the way all the chip companies work.

So, a dealer package for a Focus gives you access to every Focus file and value file, support directly from us, the whole shot. With this you will have everything you need to become THE Focus guy for chips. So you can develop files for any Focui. To change each car though you need a flasher for each car or a chip for each car, these you'll have to buy from us as a dealer. There is special dealer pricing for this stuff as well.

We are working on a flasher, for dealers, that will flash 10 cars and bring the cost of flashing close to the cost of a chip (look at a flasher and a chip, the flasher has way more into it, so it costs more). But, this is still a little bit away.

I hope this makes sense...

Thanks for clearing that out.. that's not i had understood it the first time.. (and for others also im sure hehe)..

ok so for example, I pick the pro racer package just for ONE car for private use (no profit) .. I will have all the focus files still (i hope so!) but will only be able to tune my car. If i decide i want to add a mustang to my car list, I should be able to buy a 200$ license thing for the other car? or will i just have to buy a completly new flasher (800$) for the mustang also.. or maybe send you back my flasher for an update for the 2 cars now? (200$). OR for multiple cars, I will NEED the chip version so that i can keep the same burner but just buy more chips (for about 200$ also?.. )

Dont get me wrong.. not trying to ask for pricing.. i know the pricings aren't set yet... i just want to show the difference between 200-800 prices......the small fee and the big one..

If someone gets the bronze package.. he will be able to tune ANY car that he bought the package for (for example Focus for 1500$)... but for each car he does, he will have to buy a flasher (200$ or full price(800).. that actually the customer is paying) or chip (same as flasher) but he can sell the tuning however he wants.. to anyone etc... he just has the 1500$ focus value files.. if he wants to get mustangs( all) in his value files database, he will buy the 2000$ package for the mustang.. and then again, buy a flasher (200$ or full price) or chip(same as flasher) for every car he tunes..

Again, don't want to confuse you with the pricing.. i know they aren't set.. just pointing out "small fee" vs "big fee" hehehe

Don't worry, I am not questionning your pricing, i think it is really well thought of.. individual/business packages (whats included)/prices(for what you can do with it) are adapted for each use in my opinion..

Thanks again for the support.. its awesome

Very good question!!!

Ohhhhh ok, that makes sense. I was wondering how you wouldn't lose money on the dealer programs. Well in that case, I might just go with Flasher for one car. Which isn't a bad thing since it will be out sooner!!!!!

And I'm assuming the multiple flashers fall into the ballpark 200.00 per flasher for the dealer packages. (Of course I know the pricing is just ballpark, so you don't need to give specific pricing, just want to make sure my understanding isn't wrong).

Also, as BerinG said, what would be entailed if I bought another ford and wanted to tune that. So I have my focus and bought a mustang or an F-150. Would i need to buy another racer package or are do you think there will be cheaper upgrade options! Thanks again!
