... T/O bearing!!

Where can I get a new one that will last?

They will all squeal. I believe it's all in how you have your clutch cable adjusted. If you still have the stock quadrant, no matter how many times you "reset" the clutch pedal, it will always come back. The spring-loaded stock quadrant wants to put a little tension on the cable. It's that slight tension on the throw out bearing that creates the squeal.

You said it best. Hit or miss. I even think Bill has the world record for trying every one on the planet. I am sure he will chime in with his thoughts. But Kurgan's opinion is the same as mine.

im pretty sure mine has started to squeel too. i noticed it after my first night at the track doing 5500-6000rpm launches. its not as noticible now as it was the first couple of days.

Mine squeals whien I depress the pedal and the car is hot, like after ten miles of combination or city driving. I assume it's going out. Embarrassing sometimes. It's still under warranty, but I don't want anothe POS factory piece if it will only last 20k! Idon't mind doing it myself if it's worth it.

Somebody recommended McCleod and someone else said Scheiffer.

So, Kurgan, does that mean that an aftermarket quadrant won't cause a sqeal?

Bill, chime in anay time!

I can say i have not have that issue since i replaced the stock clutch.
Ive had the king cobra and now a mcleod setup .No squeal at all.

The only difference. That i do on mine is add high heat lube to all the pivot points and a smooth coating on the input shaft sleeve.

70k miles combined between two clutches not one squeal.

That was an easy one to guess. TOB's seem to squeal more than FBI informants on these cars.

I can honestly say I've never had a problem with it on my ride, though. ;)

Autos dont squeal. But to squeal the car must at least RUN ;)

I'm not shocked. It runs... it just doesn't move. ;)
