Thanks

We haven't heard anything concrete on when the Diablo is coming out. We have been hearing rumors about them coming out soon for the past six months.

Once they finally come out we plan on offering our tuning services to you SRT-4 guys.

Good news! I will be watching. Diablo has started posting up dynos and saying it is very close. Yell if you need a modified neon for testing.

Uh, why aren't you asking this on the SRT forums?

Because ModularDepot is one of the country's leading tuning facilities. They tune more than just Ford's. You should see some of the Chrysler vehicles they have been "upgrading" at their shop.

If anyone knows about WHEN a new tuning option is available from DiabloSport/SCT, it's the performance shops that use them on a daily basis....

Diablosport Predator is here.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thats right folks! The wait is now over! The Diablosport Predator for the SRT-4 and 5 speed PTGT is offically available. We have worked very closely with Diablosport over the past 2 years to make this available for all of you. It has been a long time coming and the wait is finally over!

We have Units instock Ready to Ship

What it does:

-Boost Control +/- 40% duty cycle.
-Rev Limit Adjustment
-Top Speed limit Adjustment
-Timing Adjustment +/- 10 Degrees in 3 rpm ranges 1k-2.7k/3k-4.7k/5k-7k
-Fuel Adjustment +/- 20 Percent in 3 rpm ranges.
-Fan On/Off @ temp Adjustment.
-Unit will hold up to 5 Tunes. Have a Race Gas Tune always handy!
-Dataloging in handheld or Full logging over 150 parameters via your laptop!!
-Code Reader and Code Scrubber.
-Eliminates Overboost Fuel Cut without added Timing.
-Eliminates Downstream O2 sensor codes.
You can return your car back to stock at anytime.
Once you return your car to stock, you can reuse the Predator on any supported Dodge/Chrysler vehicle or sell it to another SRT owner.
Much greater flexabilty for tunning, run more boost on smaller injectors and still have sufficent fuel.

Your options:

-We will be adding package options in the future. Like 3.5 bar map/750cc injector packages, Etc.

What you get:

-Diablosport Predator Unit
-Download cable
-A/C power supply

(IMPORTANT NOTE: Your ECU Must have a your VIN programmed or the Predator will not work in your car. There are few odd-ball factory calibrations out there that may need to be updated for the Predator to work. We have worked hard over the past few months to weed out any issues, to provide you with a trouble free purchase. )

Looks they are just now starting to hit some vendors. I would really be interested to get a couple of dyno tunes. I'm sure you are busy. If you could keep me posted this fall/winter of your plans. I am local and my car is free at anytime. I am sure there would be plenty of locals to jump on also.

Thanks
Ed

Sweet! The curve looks really good on the near stock one I saw from you guys! Good job! I am still interested in a 93 w/meth tune and a race gas tune. I also need to get some cams dialed in at the same time if you are up to it. Thanks, ed

Absolutely. Definitely looking forward to getting some good tunes done on these. So many that have crossed my dyno would kill for a good tune like the software makes possible. Just give us a call to set it up.

Sweet! Great news! There are really a ton of people that will jump on as word spreads! I was at 375/380 at about 26psi in '06 on your dyno... I have jumped up to 8.5:1 compression, a full race head/oversized valves plus meth. Still letting the pcm do everything except boost. I talked to Greg a week or so ago and he told me to call back in a week...this is ed@wyler

Do you mind if I stop by one day this week and ask your input on a couple of things before we set it up Ken? If so, a good time? Injector and wastegate guestions I have about diablo. Huge thanks!

Cool, this should be fun. Probably best to stop by late in the day. Really depends what I have going on. If you let me know a day you want to stop by, I can give you a time. Obviously, I feel 100% qualified to tune them, but as far as parts selection, I'm still learning about the cars. So I'll help you the best I can there.

I am absolutely confident also. I'll stop by tommorow at 5:00 and see if you are around...if not I'll keep trying...no problem. Basically wondering if too much injector is bad or try to get what I need now...instead of the future. I have an aftermarket wastegate actuator with a manual boost controller. I was thinking of just getting some 750's now. I wasn't sure if you prefer the pcm/diablo to control the boost or if I need to round up the mopar stage 3 wastegate that came with the turbo setup or can use my aftermarket. I'll catch you soon. Thanks again, ed

What kind of gains do you think one might see with a 100% stock one? What kind of money are we talking?

the link below shows a guy with a mopar stage 1 pcm and 2.5 catback(i think) if it gives you any idea...almost stock. there have been other srt vendors show better...but their are alot of salesman too. i'd rather be on the dyno in newport imo.

Nice. I was thinking of adding a 3" THermal R&D Exhaust as well. Should be a nice gain.

cool. i usually have a cookout at my house every spring for my mopar peeps near florence. i was off the track last year, but hope to post some solid 11's this year. we usually have a few days where the turbo-mopar guys invade a test/tune day to hang out for old and new friends. keep in touch!

As far as cost, it would be the cost of the predator plus dyno dime.

Probably $500-$600 total depending on mods.

One other thing, it would be very helpful to install a bung in your exhaust pretty close to the turbo for my wideband. We put one in Brandon's car that accessible from the top in the engine bay. We can install this for you at an extra charge. Afterwards can be used for your own wideband.
