So, I replaced my stock pump in my 1998 Cobra with an Aviator pump. It so happens that the pump I got from a friend was modified slightly, and long story short......to make it work I deleted the double cap in the picture. I have not tried to start the car, but when I turn the key, I hear the pump but my Fuel Pressure gauge shows 2-3 PSI then shuts back down to 0.....kinda like the guys in the Cobras that delete the valve on the Focus pumps etc that cause hard starts (key cycling)
Was wondering....WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CONTRAPTION???!!! Is it ok that I deleted it and just ran the single flex tube (feed line) straight from the pump?? Check it out. LMK
