Injector question and fuel setup

i saw somewhere the max hp output on the 60# injectors was like 960, if so what is the max hp output on the 42# injectors?

i have a 255lph pump, t-rex in pump, and upgraded rails. I also have a D1sc and i need to know what size injectors will work best i am shooting for mid 500 hp to high 500 hp. the block is already built and 1000 hp cap. i just need to know how well the fuel system will do here.

say i do throw 60# injectors in, with my setup will it hold say 800? i know i am not shooting that high but for a good safety net..
then if i do go with 42# injectors and my setup as is now, whats my max hp out put?

You really don't want to run an injector over 80% duty cycle.

I think 60's are good for about 600 RWHP unless you start bumping the Delta pressure up.

Anything over 500 RWHP, I wouldn't even consider 42's.

thanks that was what i was thinking, where is the best place to get 60's from? i mean most sights i've seen are high priced.. and what vehicles do they come standard in, might hit the junk yard lol :)

also i was told that for every lb of fuel is good for 16hp if that is true then 19lbs x 16hp=304hp hp capable injectors

then 42lb x 16hp = 672 max hp capability from 42lb injectors and then the 60# should support in the 900 range.

if i'm only wanting mid/high 500 hp why wouldn't 42lb injectors be sufficient?
