I recently went to a return system and everything works great except the pump is ridiculously loud. I thought that it wouldn't bother me, but it's driving me crazy.
This is the set up right now:
Automotive Pro Series pump
Automotive Billet controller
Automotive Regulator
MMR Sump tank
10an feed line, 8an return
CPR rails
I was looking at switching to a Magnafuel 4303 pump, which the web sight says is quiet and will support the numbers that I need. When I called to order it, Magnafuel said that it would be comparably loud as the Automotive pump.
I'm not sure what to do, I don't want to spend $500 more to have the same problem. I've thought about mounting the pump in the tank or in a different location that might isolate it better.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Reese
