Well, after a few years of beatin and bangin, she finally gave up. I burned the crank and two rods @ Summit Point.
I had a canton pan and ran mobile 1 all it's life, never lossed oil pressure but something must have gone threw the filter.
Anyhew, to make a long story short it's finally going to come together. I've put a Granatelli K-member (not by choice), and built a set of lower arms. The block is getting redone in a few weeks, but hoping to complete the car before the end of the year.
Right now it's still in the dissasembly stage but I figured I would start posting some shots as I go.

Ok, so the few weeks have gone by and haven't had time to dig into it at all. A few parts showed up today and things are calming down a tad @ work. The rotating assembly should be here in a week or so and then it's just going to take a bunch of time.
The goal is to make about 315-330 at the rear wheels dependibly, for road racing. The stock intake has been chucked for the edelbrock piece with a carb. All the factory wiring has been removed and belive me it's a ton.
Anyhow I took a few shots of the intake today to give you guys a better view. I have them in much larger sizes for anyone looking for detail. I will most likely get some flow numbers of the intake next week in the as-cast form.

Here are a few shots of some cleanup work on the intake. Since it will never see injectors or fuel rails the extra material is all being removed.

I am interested in the results , a carb seems so much easier to me , and would really clean up everything under the hood , keep those pics coming and good luck with your build.

Here is a shot I took to show what kind of weight savings can be had with a carb setup. All factory wiring removed. I'm guessing it's in the range of 30-40 lbs. I'm making my own harness so I will add a few pounds back in but this is nothing to scoff about. If anyone needs any connectors or anything just shoot me a pm. I'm reasonable.
