They will help, but Ford needs a lineup of sedans that compete in all areas with Honda, Toyota, and Nissan. The Fusion is nice, kinda boring but nice. However it has no balls at all. Especially the V6 model. The imports all have 250+hp V6s while the Fusion uses a V6 that has been in the Mazda 6 for 5 years or so.

The 500 is just ugly and slow.

If Ford want to start rocking they need to make all their SUVs and trucks more fuel efficient. The Escape is cool because the I-4 5 speed gets 28mpg highway, thats awesome in an SUV.

If they could make an F150 that still has enough power that gets 25mpg Id buy one tomorrow, but as much as I drive I cant justify getting 15mpg.

Our Escape has been perfect for 70k miles. Zero issues, Im surpised at how well it has stood up even after an accident.

I like the new Escape. Its a pretty cool looking ride.

I had a 2002 Explorer XLT. Damn I miss that sucker sometimes.

04Dark,the all-new F-150 should be making its concept debut sometime in the near future. With the new Silverado,Tundra just out,its a good time for Ford to strke with the new truck and engine options.

I still like the current F150 so to me the design isnt the problem. Its very nice inside and out. But it has no balls and still gets awful mileage.

Like I said if they could design an engine that gets 300+hp and 25mpg they would convert alot of other brand lovers to Ford. Its unlikely they could do it given the weight of the truck and the peoples need for power. Might not be a bad place to add a hybrid powerplant with an electric motor for good down low power.

I would have no interest in a diesel.
